tlee
I tried to capture an image today and it took over 2 hours. Everything seems slow, creating an bootable media is also taking about 2 hours. The PC we have Smartdeploy running on is an i5 quadcore and has 20gb of RAM. I can't seem to see where this slowness is coming from.
SmartDeploySupport
Especially for capture, try disabling any anti-virus software that is running. Ensure you are capturing from and saving to local physical disks. If you still have issues, email us your c:\smartdeploy\logs\capture.log, or media.log to support @ smartdeploy.com Thanks, SmartDeploy Support
MC IT
Is there any possible application or process exclusions we can make to the anti-virus so that we don't have to keep disabling anti-virus at every capture?
Jeff Harris
I would start with adding exceptions/exclusions for the Console, CaptureWizard, BuildWizard, and MediaWizard EXE files which are found in C:\Program Files (x86)\SmartDeploy\SmartDeploy Enterprise\Resources.
