Problems Saving Application Packs

Jonathan U

Recommended Posts

I am getting the attached error when trying to save an application pack that I created. I just added a .msi to the app pack and now it won't let me save it. I have tried recreating the app pack multiple times, and it always gets stuck at this message. "The temporary file could not be copied over to its destination file." Has anyone else seen this issue?

Thanks,

Jonathan

If you have any anti-virus running on the SmartDeploy host, disable it and try saving the file. If you still have issues, please create a ticket here and then send us your C:\SmartDeploy\Logs\Console.log from the SmartDeploy host and reference this forum post please.

Thanks,

Devon

I just ran into this error on a larger install and I was able to work around it by checking the box "Open the new application pack" on the Finish screen. And, vice versa, if I already had this box checked, I unchecked it. I'm on version 2.0.3090.12085.
