BB IT
Hi, After updating to version 3010 I'm now getting the following errors: "Unable to connect to the SmartDeploy Console service" followed by "There was no endpoint listening at http://localhost:8734/Design_Time_Addresses/SmartDeploy.ConsoleServiceSLWCF/Message/ that could accept the message. This is often caused by an incorrect address or SOAP action. See InnerException , if present, for more details." There is a ton of SQL error logs in the EventViewer (I can send the logs if necessary). There seems to be no problems with deploying from my images, though. Any idea what could be wrong? SmartDeploySupport
Please send us the exported sql errors in event viewer and your C:\SmartDeploy\Logs\Console.log from the SmartDeploy host and we can investigate further. https://support.smartdeploy.com/new

Jeff Harris
Can you first check the properties of SDESetup.exe and look to see if there's a button or checkbox for 'Unblock'? If so, please click that, click OK, re-install SmartDeploy and see if that corrects the issue.
BB IT
Hi Jeff, It made no difference. I'm still getting the same errors as above.
OK Billy
I have a ticket open with the same issue. My 2k12 server uses web proxy to get out to the internet, but disabling the proxy cleared all the errors.
Jeff Harris
BB IT; Let's continue in the ticket you opened.
BB IT
Thanks to Jeff and his coworker I've got my server up and running again. It was either a missing MS update or because my region locale isn't fully supported that caused the issue.
