Sysprep fails on Lenovo T450s and T430u

I am having an issue with several Lenovo T450s and at least T430u notebooks. We have imaged over 200 other notebooks with no troubles so I know my image is solid. The image process happens without errors but then an error message pops up on first boot saying "System Preparation Tool 3.14 - A fatal error occurred while trying to sysprep the machine." You can restart the PC and log in but get a black screen with a mouse cursor, like explorer.exe did not load. I'm using the most current version of SmartDeploy (2.0.3010) and newest platform pack available...and I'm out of ideas.

Please boot to SmartDeploy media on the affected device (ideally with USB boot media with no answer file, to avoid starting another deployment and wiping the previous logs), click the Collect logs option, save the resulting zip file to an external location, and send with your reply.
