Windows 10 - latest cumulative update breaking deployment?

I've got a bunch of Win 10 machines running 1703 that are deploying without problems. I have updated a couple of them with the latest cumulative update and it's changed the version from 1703 to 1709. Now, whenever I come to capture an image of those machines I'm told that SmartDeploy can't mount the volume, and can't find the file. Have logged a call with support, but just wondered whether anyone else had come across the problem?
