So, all we want to do is image some of our products.  Some are Windows, but some are Linux.

We are looking for a simple straight forward deployment software, and while I hoped yours would work, I'm disappointed with the complexity I see so far, and it looks like you're really focused on building a better version of WDS which we're not interested in.  We hoped for a product that would work like Clonezilla, only with a better interface.

From my point of view, here's what I want to do:

• Create images that we can store on Raid
• These images cannot be Windows only!  We need software that can clone Linux too!
• Once we create an image, and put it on a RAID, we want to be able to access it and put it on a bare drive.

Can your software do this or not?

Hello,

SmartDeploy supports deploying from a RAID. You will want to copy the image to your RAID and then create boot media via our Media Wizard. Then map a network share to that raid and deploy. You can find out more about this process in our User Guide here. 

Unfortunately, SmartDeploy only supports deploying Windows images at this time.
