lphooper03
I have a batch file I've created that will disable the windows firewall on the local machine when launched. I would like to include this as part of the image or more specifically, I would like it to be added and ran after the image is run and after the computer has been added to the domain. I've configured SmartDeploy to add the computer to the domain, btw. What is the best route to go to complete this task?
SmartDeploySupport
Good question. All that you need to do in order to have your batch file run at the specific time in the deployment that you want to is to edit your custom answer file for the deployment. In the answer file creation wizard click the advanced button, then on the top set of tabs, all the way to the right, is a tab labeled tasks. Click on the tasks tab and in the drop down menu you will find the different phases that you can choose to have your batch file run. If you have any further questions feel free to email us at Support@Smartdeploy.com and we will do our best to help you out!
