BSOD During Deployment

Hello - trailing this product and all went as expected until deploying the image to a new laptop - resulted in BSOD during boot. I'm assuming it's a driver issue, more than likely related storage, but I'm open to suggestions. The correct Platform Pack was used to inject into so I'm at odds on how to proceed. Can't even boot to safe mode.

Any thoughts on tis would be appreciated.

Hello,

Thanks for taking the time to evaluate SmartDeploy. A few questions.

What platform pack are you referring to?

Does this happen on other machine models?

When the BSOD occurs, is it after the first reboot after the deploy wizard finishes?

Thanks,

Platform Pack for HP Elitebook 8470p - Multi OS - bit loading Windows 7 x64. The 2 I've tested this on have both shown the same behavior. I did resolve the first by running diskpart once smartpe loads - cleaned drive - crated primary, marked it active and formatted. But this doesn't seem to be fixing the issue on the second. And I would think that this would all be done during the imaging process.

I checked the first machine when it finally was able to boot and all drivers are loaded correctly. So I'm at a loss here as to what the issue might be.

This looks to be an issue with you driver packs. I finally got the second machine to boot and half the drivers aren't loaded? And this was after the 5th time that I loaded the image. So if I were to guess, when it does blue screen, the correct storage drive isn't loading. If you do it enough times, and it loads by chance, the laptop boots. This is my guess anyway. Like I said, when I got the first one to boot -- finally, all drivers were loaded correctly. This second laptop, after loading the image probably 6-7 times, it finally booted without half the drivers being loaded.

If anyone from Smart Deploy sees this post, I'd appreciate any input. Right now we are in a big hurry to replace ghost as our imaging solution, and although this software looked promising, it's quickly dropping down on the list of possible solutions. 2 laptops, 2 BSOD's - not so good
