Starting from scratch

I recently lost my SmartDeploy guy, so I need to figure out how to use this software. I got the server booted up and tried to fire up SmartDeploy v3. When I attempt to log in, I get an error message:

"The specified server did not initialize correctly. Please ensure the service is online. With Error Code 2"

 

I did check, and the MongoDB and SmartDeploy API services are both running. My credentials are correct (when I mangle them, I get a credential error instead). Can anyone tell me what's going on with my installation? Do I need to start from scratch, and if so, how do I do that?
