Network Deployment: Multiple Out-of-State Sites

I need to use network deployment to image computers at out-of-state sites. I was wondering what the best way to do that would be, as if I deployed images to those sites on my current machine, it would take entirely too long for it to communicate over the company network.

You'll want to have a site-local host running SmartDeploy, and any clients on that site configured to use that host. You can do a one-time copy of your corporate image to that host, then use RDP to download packs, create answer files and network deployment packages, and initiate your network deployments.
