Deployment Problems with Only 1 Computer

I am having an issue deploying to only 1 computer in my environment. All other computers work fine. We purchase all of our computers from dell, so it is the same exact model as all the other computers. When i deploy an image to it in the console, the computer gets the clock symbol next to it and it goes into a status of "deployment scheduled", even though i did not use the scheduled deployment option. When i image other computers it almost immediately switches to the green deployment arrow, and the computer starts the process and boots into the WinPE boot deployment screens. I also cannot deploy driver updates to this computer. I shows the "updating drivers" icon next to the computer in the console, but nothing ever happens on the PC. Also, this computer does not have a serial number in the console, when all the other computers do. When i open the Console.log file, i see multiple different return codes: 808, 7128, 4128, 2104, and 6716.

What i have tried to resolve the issue:

  • I have uninstalled and reinstalled the client form the computer
  • I have deleted the computer from the console and let it be re-added back into the console by the client
  • I have uninstalled the client, deleted it from the console, rebooted the computer, reinstalled the client
  • I verified that the firewall was turned off and remote registry was on
  • I created a Win10 boot USB drive using the media creation tool, and installed a clean install of Windows 10 onto the PC. Joined the PC to the domain, and deployed the SmartDeploy client to the computer. Still doing the same thing after all that.

Has anyone run into this issue? Or have any ideas of things to try? I am out of options.

Thanks!

UPDATE:

FYI - I was finally able to resolve the issue. What i believe was the eventual  solution to the problem was performing the steps in the correct sequence.

I had uninstalled the client, rebooted the computer and deleted it from the console, but not in the correct order.

  1. Uninstall the SmartDeploy Client from the computer
  2. Delete the computer from the console
  3. Reboot the computer
  4. Redeploy the SmartDeploy cleint to the computer
  5. Deploy the image

After doing the steps in that order, i am now able to deploy the image successfully.
