CJL9324
Just had my first corporate system come in with dual drives, and I was wondering if there was any way to target the SSD (which is listed as disk 1 currently). I saw an article in these forums from a couple years back, and the only solution provided was to physically swap the drive connections, which I'd prefer to avoid if possible. Have there been any developed features for deploying to a dual drive system? Or has anyone attempted to edit the disk assignment via diskpart to switch the drives? Any info would be appreciated! Jeff Harris
At this time, SmartDeploy will always target Disk 0 for imaging. If the Reference VM had an additional drive, then it will look to Disk 1 for the second drive.
boomerman
What I do it disable the non SSD drive in the bios, image the pc then re-enable it in the bios after the pc has booted to the desktop for the first time.
