Duplicate (phantom) printer

We have used SmartDeploy to image several new notebooks with Windows 10.  We have noticed on many of the notebooks that there is a duplicate printer appearing in Printer and Devices.

Typically it is the default printer (set to a network copier).  Both instances of the printers are set to default, and after we delete the printer, the phantom printer returns when we add the printer (or possibly any printer) back.

Is this a known issue?

It is not just a nuisance, in that we are eperienncing issues in some applications when printing and suspect it is related.
