Here's a link for an Application Pack that I made for another customer to install the Dell Command Update util. Reported back and said it works, so hopefully it does the trick for you as well!

Hello Jeff, I was able to use your Application Pack, but update it to the latest version of Dell Command Update, currently version 4.1.0. It does install successfully, however, it's not usable. This is the same problem I had when I tried to build my own application pack for Dell Command Update. When you normally install it, you get shortcuts to launch the GUI. There are no shortcuts available with this application pack. That's fine, but I can't even find where to manually launch Dell Command Update. What am I missing? It's installed, but not usable?

I've got the same question. A year later and no answer? When you refresh an image, what happens and when do you know it's done? If all you did was a few small updates to your master machine image, how do you update it? Is a refresh right, but how do you know it's done?

The only exe that gets installed is the command line version, dcu-cli.exe. That works, once I figured out they changed the command line syntax for version 4.x. I guess this is workable, but it would be nice to have the GUI available too.
