Can confirm the above fix appears to have worked for me. Was getting Sysprep error and then when Windows booted and logged in, I would just get a flashing black screen with the file explorer restarting over and over.

Must not have been as finalized as they thought with it being almost 3 weeks later now..

Any update on this?

I know it is in beta, but is there any documentation currently on how this works and what purposes this feature has?

Experiencing the same issue here now with 1803 update. After the image I get the "a fatal error occurred while trying to sysprep the machine..."

Any news on when this will possibly be fixed?
