  1. Just had a new batch of Dell XPS 13's model 9350's come in. I requestd a Win 7 (x64) package to be built as the only package option was Win 10 as our estate is still Win 7. This was created last night by smartdploy, I've created a new Win 7 Ent 64Bit image, built a USB stick but cant deploy. If I choose legacy mode in the bios I get a blue screen with the following message. Recovery Your PC needs to be repaired. There isn't enough memory available to create a ramdisk device. Error code: 0xc0000017 You'll need to use the recovery tools on your installation media. If you don't have any installation media (like a disc or USB device) contact your system administrator or PC manufacture. Press Enter to try again Press F8 for startup Settings Pressing either options just goes back to same screen. If I choose UEFI in Bios I get the Smartdeploy splash screen but as soon as I click any option the following error is displayed. sllauncher.exe - Application Error The instruction at 0x5178161d referenced memory at 0x4da539ac. The memory could not be read. Click on OK to terminate the program Any help would be appreciated. Cheers Darren
  2. Below is the reply from the support team, This did the trick. I can now create USB stick for offline deployment. This is interesting as the .ppk files were directly downloaded from Smartdeploy from within the Smart Deploy Enterprise. The Media Wizard is having issues copying your DellLatitudeE7250-Windows7.ppk. Perform the following: · Right click on DellLatitudeE7250-Windows7.ppk · Go to properties · Click Unblock · Click OK Recreate your boot media via the Media Wizard and let us know your results.
  3. I've just created a new Windows 7 Enterprise image, I've used the new control panel to Build, Capture, & create offline USB stick sort of. The media wizard keeps failing with the message 'An exception has occurred.' Media Wizard will now close. Any ideas, where are the logs located?
  4. Hi, I have succesfully created an image & used media wizard to build USB stick with my image & relevant package files. I have the following problem however once the PC reboots & gives me the 'Setup is preparing your computer for first use' splash screen, I get an error box overlayed ontop of the splash screen saying the following. SmartDeploy Setup Wrapper "The services cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it." I cannot click the OK button as the mouse & keyboard are unresponsive & the pc hangs there. Again any help would be appreciated. Cheers in advance. Darren
  5. Hi there, That did the trick thanks I have another issue which I'll start a new thread on. Cheers, Darren
  6. Hello All, First post & I am already looking for help I'm trying to capture my first windows 7 pro image. When I run the capture wizard it gives me the following message "The virtual machine you are attempting to capture appears to be in the middle of running updates. Please complete the updates and try again." Problem is it's not updating, the image is fully patch & upto date!! I've tried to capture the image with the virtual instance running & not running with the same message. Any help out there? Cheers Darren
