HI I was previously running Smart Deploy 1.3 and ran into an issue where I launched the media creation wizard and received the pop up box when it launches but the inside of the Smart Deploy window was completely white (Blank). I checked online for the latest version and saw Enterprise had launched so went ahead and downloaded that and installed thinking it would fix the issue. Smartdeploy upgraded successfully and when I launched Enterprise got the same result. The Enterprise box launches, everything looks like it's running fine, but their is no menu and it's completely blank inside the Enterprise window. I completely uninstalled Smart Deploy, rebooted the system, reinstalled Enterprise and am experiencing the same issue. I updated my media a few weeks back so I know that it was working fine then. I'm currently checking to see which updates or programs that were installed since may have broken it. Any help on what else to do to get this working would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Allen

Hi I am attempting to image a Dell Latitude E7450. I have updated a Master Image with Windows and software updates and then re-captured it with Smart Deploy. After deploying the image, the machine seems to find the partition and start to boot into windows, but then fails and gives the following error. 0xC000000e The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible. I have tested deployment of this image to a different model machine and it seems to work fine. I have tried using the latest platform pack for the 7450 as well as the prior 7450 platform pack. It seems to only be an issue with the 7450. I also attempted to image a 2nd 7450 and encountered the same issue. Also, the previous image that we used prior to this updated version works fine on the 7450's. I imagine there must be something in the VM that needs to be adjusted before capturing. Any suggestions? I am attempting to image a Dell Latitude E4300. I have downloaded the latest platform pack and have re-downloaded to make sure it is not corrupted. I am able to open it up and view the Platform Pack through the manager. My Image is Windows XP 32 bit and the install media is USB boot and network. I have successfully deployed it onto a E6400 prior to this with no issues using the same install method. The error I am receiving after choosing the image from the deployment option is "The platform pack has support for this computer manufacturer, however it does not contain support for this model" Thoughts and Ideas? Thanks for the replies. Upon further investigation, I have determined that Smartdeploy appears to be copying over the default Platform pack rather than the specific one that I had chosen for ths particular machine. For example, I have chosed the LatitudeE6230 platform pack and it is referenced in the answer file but only the default.ppk file is located on the offline media. Does Smart Deploy always use the default platform pack for offline media? And if that is the case, do I need to rename my multi machine platform pack to default in order to get it to work for offline media? I will be testing this while waiting for rsponses. Thanks! allen

Hi I'm having an issue with Offline Deployment when I use an Answer File. When using the Answer File with my offline deployment media (DVD or USB), the Platform Pack is not being applied to the image. The machine runs through setup completely, but when I look at the hardware after installation, there are exclamation points for almost all devices. I have created the same deployment media without the answer file and it works fine. The answer file is simply one that I exported from one of the Smart Deploy Wizards and I have not made any modifications to it. I have no issues if I use the answer file over the network as well. It only appears to be an issue when I use the answer file on the offline deployment media. Any ideas? Thanks! Allen
